Zipabox can communicate natively with Z-Wave technology. Let’s see how to add a generic driver Z-Wave module as a module Everspring AN157-6.

We access the Zipabox control panel in the webbrowser. Click on “Add Device” in the configuration interface.

Zipabox Control Center

As Zipabox supports different protocols, we have to define what kind of module we want to add. We chose “Generic Z-Wave” and click on “Join”.

We now have 120 seconds to press the connect button on the module to add. In this case the module for AN157-6 is a rather simple support.

Once the device is added and saved, you can close the window.

After updating the page (press F5 on the keyboard), you should look at the list of modules and lighting equipment (lamps and control devices).

By clicking the button, you can check the correct operation of the module.

Zipabox switch

By clicking the little icon, you can access the configuration module.

You can then assign the module in a room and give it a name and description.

The module can now be controlled from the Zipabox! If you have other modules of this kind to add, follow the same procedure.
